4/24/12- The Offseason... A new experience for a ten year vet.
As I sit down to write this initial post I can't help but feel that there is this change that is occurring within my life that is forcing me to refocus my priorities, my passions, and most concrete, my time. I am the father of three beautiful children with a fourth on the way and a husband to the love of my life. This is the first offseason where I have finally been forced to sit down and prioritize what we will need to do as a staff to maximize our inseason success, while balancing the priorities of being a good husband and father.
This process will be a long one and I want to use this blog as a way to track my thoughts, offer advice, and maybe receive any feedback that is out there for a young coach, with a young family, and a burning desire to be the best husband, father, teacher, coach, that I can be.
This is my first ever blog experiment... so I am hoping that I don't get frustrated and that I prioritize my time so that I can make this a meaningful experience.
